Being a part of our awesome team and always happy to introduce something new to our community, I'm very excited to start a new project.
The Monthly Recipe Challenge
"What is that?" You might wonder. I will answer all your questions!
Every month we will have a new recipe for you to try out! You will find those recipes on the 5th of each month in the Recipe Challenge folder in our gallery! The 4th of every month will therefore also be our deadline for submissions for that months recipe.
Each month will have their own sub-folder, as you can see.
We want you to bake or cook the recipes and take some awesome food still-life photos of what you created!
You can then submit those photos to the respective subfolder of the month and all the submitted shots will featured in a journal at the end of the month.
Up to two entries per person and month.
We will also give away prizes for the best photos!
There will be two prizes. The winners for those are chosen by looking at different criteria.
A 3 month premium membership to the one who submits the best Still-Life shot of the food from the recipe. We will look at composition, creativity, technical aspects and overall impact.
100 points to the person who changed ingredients of the recipe the most creatively, without changing the recipe too much. This means that you could try this months apple cake with raspberries, but it could also mean that you cut the apples in a different way and use them for decoration on the top as well.
You are of course allowed to change around ingredients of the recipes, in case you have any allergies, or you think it'd simply taste better with or without certain ingredients.
